“A” or “Rep” Hockey

The opportunity to try out for “A” or “Rep” hockey begins in Atom (age 9). Rep hockey is a high-performance stream for skilled and dedicated hockey players.

Rep hockey requires a high level of commitment and athleticism. Players must opt to try out for rep hockey teams and you must select “rep tryout” during the registration process. Additional fees apply. Rep tryouts begin in early September and an optional “rep prep” camp is offered during the last week of August.

Rep teams are coached by professional coaches and additional fees apply. These are collected at the team level and typically are in the $1,000 to $1,200 range per player. The fees cover coaching and tournament costs as well as other costs such as team practice jerseys, dryland training, and additional skills training.

Please familiarize yourself with the Rep Hockey Manual should your child be interested in trying out for a rep hockey team.
