Peak Performance Program
The Peak Performance Program provides our rep team players a chance to dial-up their on- and off-ice training without the need to pay tens of thousands of dollars to for-profit youth hockey programs.
By keeping advanced training under the minor hockey umbrella, our top players can attend their local schools and continue to play with their teammates while pushing themselves to be their best.
Peak Performance integrates with U13, U15 and U18 team schedules and augments this traditional rep hockey programming with small-group, curated, skills-focused training. Led by WVMHA's Director of Hockey Operations Lubomir Macoun – one of the most certified and renowned hockey coaches in the lower mainland. The program provides player-focused strategies and mentorship. Rather than spending training time on team structure and wins and losses, Peak Performance allows players to set personal hockey goals and build individual plans to meet them. Participants enjoy an extra 6-8 hours per week of focused hockey development including dryland and strength training, video and classroom sessions, hockey homework and ~3 hours of intense skating and skills ice time.
