2021-2022 Base Registration Fees

Fees may be paid as a one-time payment at the time of registration or in six monthly instalments. Enrolment in the monthly instalment program is only available until August 31, 2021.

Additional Fees may be charged by teams for participation in tournaments and other team expenses. Team fees are to be paid on a timely basis when communicated by the team manager. Such fees are in addition to the registration fees presented here.

2021-2022 Rep Player Fees

Tryout Fees must be payed by every player who seeks to play on a Rep or "A" team. The fee covers the extra coaching and ice costs associated with the "Rep Prep" camps and player evaluations at the beginning of the season.

Carding Fees will be charged to each player who is rostered on a Rep or "A" team. Carding Fees cover extra ice times and goalie training costs for the rep teams. They do not cover team coaching costs or other team expenses such as track suits and tournaments.

Free Hockey Equipment Program

We offer free hockey equipment to the first 25 new-to-hockey registrants aged 4-8 each season. More information can be found here. You will be notified by our registrar if your child qualifies.


The hockey season begins in September or October and runs until Spring Break. Full gear, including neck guards, is mandatory. All players are required to have black helmets. Download our equipment guide for more information. New players require some skating ability. CanSkate level 2 is recommended. Skating lessons are available at the West Van Arena or at the Vancouver Skating Club.

Players are not permitted on the ice (for games or practices) until registration fees have been paid in full or alternative arrangements have been made with WVMHA.

All players and parents are asked to review the policies on the WVMHA web site prior to the start of the season.

Refund Policy

On or before Aug. 30full refund subject to a $60 fee to cover pre-paid PCAHA fees and administrative costs

All other age groups: Sept. 1 – Oct. 1550% less $60

Injury:The Board may prorate the refund in the event of a season ending injury.
Suspension and/or disciplinary action:no refund

Pro-rated refunds will be given should the season be shortened due to COVID-19 restrictions.
