Hockey Lessons for Kids on the Autism Spectrum

West Vancouver Minor Hockey is committed to reducing barriers to hockey. In partnership with the District of West Vancouver, and with financial support from Enhance West Van, our Hockey for Autism program introduces the wonderful game of hockey to kids on the autism spectrum. The program's goal is to teach the basic skills required to play hockey and to help kids gain the comfort and confidence to consider registering for minor hockey. We believe this program will be rewarding for all its participants, including our U18 volunteer on-ice assistants.

This is an introductory program open to kids aged 5-13. All levels of skill and experience are welcome.

The program will run on Saturdays from April 20th, 2024 to June 8th, 2024 from 12:45pm to 1:45pm at the West Vancouver Arena. Program cost is $199 per player. An optional equipment package is available until April 10th for an additional $250 (see below for more information).
