Hockey Lessons for Kids with Autism
West Vancouver Minor Hockey is committed to reducing barriers to hockey. In partnership with the District of West Vancouver, and with financial support from Enhance West Van, our Hockey for Autism program introduces the wonderful game of hockey to kids living with Autism. The program's goal is to teach the basic skills required to play hockey and to help kids gain the comfort and confidence to consider registering for minor hockey. We believe this program will be rewarding for all its participants, including our U18 volunteer on-ice assistants.
This is an introductory program open to kids aged 5-13. All levels of skill and experience are welcome.
The program will run on Saturdays from April 9th, 2022 to June 11th, 2022 from 2:15pm to 3:15pm at the West Vancouver Arena. Program cost is $199 per player. An optional equipment package is available until March 25th for an additional $225 (see below for more information).
