U7/U9 Clinics
Give your U7 or U9 player extra time to develop their skills, build confidence and have fun on the ice. Our 2026/2027 development clinics are designed to complement regular team practices and games. Led by Lubomir Macoun, these sessions provide a positive and engaging environment where young players can build a strong foundation, develop good habits and continue to grow as hockey players. Private & semi private sessions are also available.
Off Ice - Skills & Stick-handling Clinic for U7 and U9 Players | Sept 16 - Dec 2, 2026
*10 Weeks Clinic
*Focus: Develop stick-handling skills, hand-eye coordination, moves, fake moves and conditioning with Lubomir Macoun.
*Dates: Wednesdays - Sep. 16, 23, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 18, 25, and Dec. 2 (No sessions Sept 30 or Nov 11)
*Off Ice: 7:00 – 8:00am
*Location: Gleneagles Community Centre - Main Gym
*Cost: $250
*Drop in option available: $25 per player per session

*Cost for NON-WVMHA PLAYERS: $400

*For this clinic, players must bring a hockey stick with either a plastic blade or a wraparound (stick blade protector), as well as hockey gloves. Gym attire is required.
Skating Clinic for U7 and U9 Players | Sept 13 - Dec 13, 2026
*14 Weeks Clinic
*Focus: Develop edge control, speed, agility, acceleration, forward skating, backward skating, crossovers, pivoting, power with Lubomir Macoun.
*Dates: Sundays - Sept. 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Dec. 6, 13
*On Ice: 7:00 – 8:00am
*Location: West Vancouver Arena
*Cost: $700
*Drop in option available: $50 per player per session
*Spaces are limited! Maximum capacity is 20 players.

*Drop in option for NON-WVMHA PLAYERS: $65 per player per session
*NO REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be issued for WVMHA or non-WVMHA players. Refunds will only be considered in the event of a direct scheduling conflict (e.g., a WVMHA game or tournament scheduled at the same date and time as the clinic).
