Introductory Lessons to Ice Hockey
New to hockey? Interested in playing on a team this Fall? Get ahead of the season and start your hockey journey now. Sessions start May 4th in partnership with the District of West Vancouver.
Program Information
- For boys and girls aged 5-13
- May 4th to June 8th, 2021
- Tuesdays 3:45-4:30pm (5-8 yr olds) and 4:30-5:15pm (9-13 yr olds)
- All ice times at the WEST VANCOUVER ARENA
Do you need hockey equipment?
Reasonably priced equipment packages are available from Larry's Sports in North Vancouver. Packages include all required gear and accessories. Please contact Larry's Sports directly to arrange a fitting time. Be sure to mention that you are participating in the West Van Minor Hockey "Hockey for Fun" program. Pricing is as follows:
- YOUTH (Age 7 and under) - $349.99 plus tax
- JUNIOR (Age 8-11) - $499.99 plus tax
- SENIOR (Age 12+) - $649.99 plus tax
COVID Safety
Arena Safety Protocols
- Players must arrive at the arena dressed for hockey (except for skates and helmets)
- Face-masks are mandatory for everyone in the arena except for on the ice surface
- Players must bring their own water bottles
- Social distancing will be enforced
- No spectators are permitted (except for caregivers if required)
